For the first time in the history of Swedish newspapers, exactly the same news report is today published in
Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Svenska Dagbladet.
  The background is serious.
The murder of the syndicalist Björn Söderberg, the car bombs against the journalist couple in Nacka and the policemen in Malmö are together with the police murders in Malexander terrorist actions against the open society.

Nazi groups, motorcycle gangs and other types of organised crime are now attacking the fundamentals of democracy: The power of justice (the police and prosecutors), the political power (single politicians of the local community and MPs) and the scrutinising power (journalists and opinion makers).
The fear is spreading and it is gaining ground. In the judicial system and among witnesses, in politics and at the editorial offices.
This threatens to poison democracy. There is a risk that the debate will become silent and that the scrutiny of the anti-democratic forces ceases.
We, four National newspapers that normally are competing with each other, have chosen to use our common resources to scrutinise the threats against a community governed by law. The result of this unique collaboration is published in the following pages.
We want to show that we are not giving in and we will continue to expose the deeds of the criminal groups and those who are behind them.
